We enjoyed an excellent dinner at Le Pigeon Noir last week, the food and service could not be faulted and the ambience was very relaxed with the feel of a neighbourhood restaurant. The prices were very reasonable, unlike other Michelin starred restaurants that we’ve been to, and we would not hesitate to return when were next in Brussels.

My wife and I both agree that this was one of the most memorable and delicious meals we have ever had. The location is unassuming, but so unique and welcoming. The staff are incredible nice, patient, and informative. We look forward to going back repeatedly

Small restaurant. Amazing food quality and originality, while staying close to Belgian staples. Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful (I was there with my 3 kids). This has now become an essential stop whenever we go to Belgium

Absolutely superb. I had what may have been the finest turbot I have ever eaten, seared with a wonderful creamy sorrel sauce-to die for! Service was impeccable, attentive but not intrusive, highly professional but friendly and relaxed. I could tell several of the other diners were repeat customers. Fully deserving of its Michelin star, and more! Highly recommended.

The owner, waiters are so helpful and patient. They literally explained every dish. The food was superbly prepared, so elegant The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Too bad we can’t dine here weekly.

Es war wundervoll, alles: Bedienung, Essen, Wein, Ambiente. Merveilleux, tout. Wonderful, everything a treat. You regret not being able to try all they have, and all of the staff so nice persons. Thus our small girl, one year and a half, could enjoy our stay as well.

The service was attentive but not obsequious. The food was first rate, from the Holstein carpaccio appetizer to the main dishes to the figs bathed in red wine and ice cream. Additionally, the staff recommended an excellent wine to complement our food.

A really great place. The look and feel is quite unique and even cosy. Staff was extremely nice and it is nice to see the owner talking to every table. Food is great without being too fancy. A well deserved star in a nice place. Great also, the valet service. We will certainly come back!
