Wonderful service, staff was amazing and super friendly even though we had arrived early and were the only people there, manager & servers was super friendly and provided great information about the wine, land and history, and the food was superb, great place for my girlfriends birthday, would highly recommend.

After a long day in Sintra, you deserve to have an incredible, quiet meal close to the train station! This is it! We ordered the salmon and mushroom risotto and both were some of the best we ever had. Great wines too and reasonably priced!

The food was delicious but the staff and service really stood out - exceptional. There was some ambient live music as well. If you get a chance, you’ll be glad you dined here!

The food and the service were wonderful. We chose some starters which were much larger than we expected - but delicious. We chose two different seafood main courses - which were also quite filling. We asked for a white wine recommendation - and were very happy with the result. When it cam to desserts - we initially declined but were persuaded to try the house special. We're very glad we did because it was wonderful (like everything else we had). We may need some larger clothes.

Firstly, the wines guy tried to sell by bragging their wines. Ive been to many restaurants, wineries mostly and ill tell u all about it, this guy was trying to sell. Its clear he knows what he says, and surely has a lot of info on the wine he is trying to sell, but refusing to bring the wine i WANT to order because you don’t want to open a new bottle is crazy. Id rather him lie and tell me its unavailable rather than REFUSE to open a new bottle, since the wine i selected was not opened prior within the day. He said if we wanted wine 2nd time after drinking the glass he offered to bring (was NOTHING similar with the wine we ordered, rather it was dry and strong) he would bring us the wine we initially requested. Food was mediocre, prices do not much quality. Ordered the beef steak, medium-rare, they brought it half rare-to blue. Blue steak for 19€, they stealing your money. At that point, there was no point in making a comment or requesting help with the steak, since our night wasn’t it

Not a fan of being seated right by the doors of the WC — extremely unappealing. Excellent wine recommendation but the execution of the dishes left room for improvement. Things were overcooked, under seasoned or just not quite right.

We had a reaaly nice dinner, food was excellent. The service was good but un bit intense… like if we had to let our place…always around us to take our plates the minute we are finished, put water or wine even if we want to take our time…I think it is a way to tell the clients they are importants but it is a little bit too much… But the food, perfect and the restaurant is nice and cosy!

Very tasty food. The tastiest fish and potato in my life. Points for improvement: I find the charge for water quite strange, especially when it’s for tap water rather than bottled. Including prices for drinks to the menu would be helpful as well

Food was good but pricy compared to others of better quality. The fish soup was lacking flavor but full of elbow macaroni. Cod and salad dishes were good. Limited English by servers made it somewhat difficult to communicate. Pleasant dining but better choices abound.

I had a tuna ceviche which was good, and a tuna steak which was first serves very dry and when I asked the waiter to replace it, I got back a tuna steak that was just a bit seared and completely COLD inside.
