7.5/10Everything would be fine if the restaurant was open full time. We ordered a couvert with bread and butter (it's on the menu). When they arrived, the bread was gone (that's right: gone). We ordered prosecco for an aperitif. When they arrived, the prosecco was gone. The food was delicious, but when the heater next to us ran out of gas, we were laughing)

Service was lacking at first, but then Rui came to the rescue. He was wonderful. The food was delicious. It did take a bit long to get our food, but worth it. Try the stew and definitely the apple pie…yum!

Overall, it was a good experience, although it could have been better. The service is good, but they forget to pay attention to each diner's order. They make mistakes with the dishes, and they don't all arrive in sync, so some people get the main course when others are just getting their first course. This spoils the experience.

We were warmly welcomed and seated at a table for 8. Very nice! The service was prompt and thoughtful. Our servers, Andre and Ricardo, were careful to get everything right and very personable. Our appetizers were great and the local wine and gin was excellent! Our entrée s were top notch- codfish, steak and prawns. We finished off with a variety of yummy desserts passed all around around. The somalier and other servers completed the team. We can't recommend this restaurant enough!

9.5/10All the staff were amazingly friendly and even though this was my first visit I was treated like a regular. The menu was relatively limited but enough choice to suit all pallets. The food was presented beautifully and the pride in what was served shone through. A great evening.

This restaurant experience was simply marvellous. The staff understand all the elements of what makes a dining experience memorable. They were also very personable and with a sense of humour. The overall setting was simple but comfortable, clean and very enjoyable. The food…the food was impeccable and the wines simply lovely. The soumollier (sp?) was superb. An overall outstanding evening and great value.
