The food was really good, particularly the fish. However when my daughter and I both ordered the fish special, the waiter failed to tell us it was more than enough for two people. We ended up with at least 8 pieces of fish - and paid for two specials, which cost $120 USD per meal ($240 total). It was just disappointing when everything else about the meal & the restaurant was great.

Food was bland. The waiter tried to filet the fish tableside and shredded it. My wife pulled out bones with every bite, then they had the nerve to charge me $90 for a bland, shredded piece of fish. It was a terrible experience.

Made a reservation at Crispi 19. When we got there they directed us to a separate room where food was priced very high. I didn’t think the atmosphere was worth the price. Then they seated us outside where food was priced moderately. While we were having appetizers someone stole my purse, someone from outside I think. When they brought the entrees we lost our appetite and we sent the food back. They still charged us for everything which was quite disappointing.

the host/manager was very rude, not to me — but to others. the staff was lost and confused. the food was good but overpriced for what it was.

We ate a 4-course menu for €150. The first 2 courses were of the same standard as any other mid-range restaurant. The main course was good at most. Dessert and service were excellent. I don't recommend at this price

The food was high quality but very expensive. Pleasant ambiance but not worth twice the price of similar places. Impressive wine list.

On a Thursday night when all the restaurants in Rome seemed to be alive with customers, we were the only ones in an interior room of a hard to find restaurant. The menu was overly serious, with dishes that tried to be sophisticated but would have been tastier with fewer complications. It was much more expensive than most other options in the city, but the food was just ok. We wish we had made a different choice. That said, our waiter was excellent, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

I booked 12 hours before going. Said I was coeliac. Should have left when presented with three GF Tuc biscuits with the olive oil . No bread yet gluten free is available all over Rome. Remember this meal cost over £300 for two people. Got worse when my husband found plastic in his food. Quite a big piece. Looked like microwaved cling film. Waiter informed chef who was dismissive. Waiter embarrassed by response. We went for meat tasting menu with wine. Pairing of wine to food was debatable . Was it left over bottles? None were just opened. Avoid. I believed reviews but can’t think now they were genuine.
