Very poor quality food. May have been better before but ramen served in disposable bowl with one small pork slice. The broth did not have any taste.

Did not expect it to be like a fast-food chain where you need to order at the counter and pay then and there then they serve the ramen in a disposable container, but that's an error on my part and that's not even the reason why my rating is low. It's mostly due to the fact that prior to this I dined at the other Ramen Akira in Rome and the difference is abysmal which is mind-boggling since they're of the same brand. If it was just a tad inferior to the other location, it would have been fine and acceptable, but the ingredients were of a much lower quality and the portion is much smaller (my boyfriend didn't even get a soft boiled egg in his despite the menu saying so). If you want a "whatever-goes" ramen in a disposable bowl then it's not a terrible place, but if you want the closest thing to an authentic one then go to the Ostiense location. Btw they added the plastic bowl and cutlery cost to our bill.

My husband and I tried this Indian restaurant in Rome to vary our cuisine. The food was very tasty, spiced well and our service was very good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I'm a big fan of Japanese food, and my 11-year-old son had been insisting for weeks that we should try good ramen somewhere in Rome. After some research, I found a place with many positive reviews, which encouraged me to make a special trip there. However, I regret to say that the food offered there had nothing to do with Japanese cuisine. Despite their claim on the website that they cook the broth for 12 hours to achieve an authentic taste, it was far from genuine. The don was simply a bowl of dry rice with pieces of salmon and beans, and it was absolutely tasteless. To make matters worse, the food was served in cardboard dishes with plastic spoons. I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my disappointment. Overall, it was a huge letdown.

The Ramen was fine, didn’t like the servings in the small carton bowl instead of a good porcelain one, lot of optional extra’s that are normally standard in other Ramen restaurants. The €18,- is just too much for a “DeLuxe” ramen. It’s just a Ramen with the necessities and an extra half an egg. The chashu was cold and didn’t have a fry or char from a blow torch. And the broth is just missing some depth. These are just small things that add up that don’t justify the price for what you get.

Service staff was rude, and make us feel uncomfortable. The service staff always in rush while there was no one behind us. The ramen broth taste should be improved. One positive note though is our request for no Vege in one of the ramen was done accurately.

We went to celebrate my partners 30th birthday. We ordered at the till as normal and took a seat. Customer after customer was served before us after we had arrived first. After 45 minutes I enquired. The single waitress was confused and checked with the kitchen, They told me 2 minutes. 15 minutes later we received our food. The order was wrong. Missing 2x chasyu pork from each dish that we’d paid extra for. They make you pay at the door when you arrive so you can’t walk out. Then after eating the waitress impatiently asked us if we were ordering anything else to basically hurry us. No partial refund was offered. No help. Terrible service all round. Worse I’ve experienced in the city. Food is not bad at all but service is severely lacking.

I looooooove the aesthetics of the place. I almost always go there every time I’m in Rome, I really recommend it if you love Japanese style restaurants and food. The best ラーメン in Rome, hands down.
