Fantastic quality authentic Roman food. Great value! Thank you to owner Christian for his chilled skills, style and warm smile for a couple of hungry and tired Australians. Sensational waitstaff with knowledgeable wine suggestions and a hilarious sense of humour. Absolutely delicious meal. Don’t miss the Scaloppine al Fungi and the Risotto with Scampi Cream including two large Scampi, beautifully cooked and presented. All Fresco dining at its very best in the heart of Travestere for people watching and a really fun time, without breaking the bank.

Food and service was incredible. We were a large table and they accommodated us very easily. Even made sure we had a cake for birthday at our table. Would def eat there again.

A Diminishing Experience Having lived in Rome for over a decade, I was disappointed with my recent visit to da Augustea. Once known for its authentic Roman flavors, the quality has noticeably declined. We started with fried zucchini flowers, specially prepared without anchovies for the vegetarians in our group. Unfortunately, they were excessively greasy and heavy, ranking among the worst I've had in Rome. While the pizzas were very good and the tiramisu was enjoyable, the service left much to be desired. The fish, though okay, wasn't cleaned or prepared until we specifically requested it. Overall, the experience was subpar. Additionally, I'm uncertain if I received the 40% discount advertised. Since my friends paid, I didn't have the receipt to verify this. Is there a way to obtain a copy of the receipt? I hope the management takes these points into conside

It is a typical tourist restaurant for tourist, with a selection of "Roman dishes" but is is ok for a quick lunch. The quality of the dishes are not excellent but not event but.

The food was okay. I had a nicoise salad which was served in a glass bowl as if it were a side salad (which was odd) but I was disappointed at the quality of it. The chips I ordered were however very tasty and I enjoyed them. I've not given a good rating as the service was poor. We waited over 35 minutes for our food to arrive with no updates at all during that time despite the restaurant not being at all busy. We did not feel very welcome and I wondered if it coincided with me mentioning that I had made the booking using the Fork.

The food was amazing! I was there with my mom and we ordered the gnocchi with tomato sauce and the ones with 4 cheeses sauce. Both were just perfect. And at the end we had a pannacota with a red fruits sauce that was to die for. The whole experience was what you would expect from Italy, authentic and delicious.

We booked on the fork with the thought we were getting a 30% discount. The owner/manager was very rude and wanted nothing to do with it. No discussion whatsoever. The waiter was apologetic. Food was adequate, would not return based on attitude of manager

Dirty tables and toilette Very poor service. We had to wait 1 hour to get our carbonara. Had to remind several times about vino. Food of very poor quality. Pasta was over salted. Salads not tasty either. Really overpriced even with the discount.

Best cheese gnocchi in Rome. Nice pizza. Delicious seafood linguine, but the 2 crustaceans had no edible parts to them, otherwise the single shrimp, 6 clams, 6 mussels were good.

Food was good, I took insalate del mare (good portion of seafood with good taste) with linguine al pesto, they were served hot and were good. Service was quick, people are kind. I asked for a seat inside, I was placed in an area alone that was a little cold this is the only bad point . Elsewhere I recommand
