10/10We found Don Lisander on a walk from our hotel to the Duomo. It looked welcoming from the street and a review of the menu they have outside the entrance made us decide it was worth a try. When we went to book online, we found that the restaurant has been in existence for decades. Arriving at the restaurant for our reservation we were shown into a dining room that was both rustic and cozy. Soft lighting and well spaced tables make this an ideal spot for a date night meal on a chilly night. The staff were friendly and accommodating. My travel companion is vegetarian and had several good allergies. They were able to make suggestions and work with the kitchen staff to make modifications to meet her needs. The food was outstanding and the wine selection paired well with the meal. They have a lovely terrace area perfect for warmer weather. We were very happy to make this culinary discovery.

10/10This is a terrific restaurant with a lot of great open air but covered space with heaters if needed. The food is fab and the service was charming - for what is a large restaurant.

6/10We have dined at this restaurant every time we are in Milan for the last 10 years, and we have great memories of our meals at Don Linsander. This is the only time we felt it was disappointing. We felt that they were understaffed and that the service suffered for it. In our view, the menu was limited (and they ran out of the fish even though we were the second patrons for dinner). The food was fine, but not, in our view, great. And we thought that the patio could really use a deep clean. I’m sorry to say we will probably find a new place to dine next time we are in Milan.

4/10Didn’t like the dishes at all. The waiter recommended the best dishes what they have in the restaurant and one of the dish (linguine with seafood was too salty and not tasty) and the risotto wasn’t tasty too. I liked only burato
