8.5/10The overall experience was fine. I’ll start with the positives: • The atmosphere was nice; the lighting, paintings, and music were all good. • The lamb tartare was superb, both in the quality of the meat and the spices they used. • They have a nice selection of wines. • The taste of most courses was quite balanced, but… Time for the negatives: • The codfish was terribly salty. I wasn’t able to eat even a third of it. • We received the menu only around 10 minutes after being seated, and it took another 20+ minutes to take our order after that. It’s true that the place was quite crowded, but it was still unpleasant to be ignored like that. And a neutral point: • Most of what we ate was incredibly similar to what our Eastern European grandmas were cooking (maybe that’s the influence of one of the owners, who has an Eastern European name). Except for the codfish, the food was quite nice, just not what I was expecting. So neither good nor bad.

3.5/10Staff was professional and knowledgeable. The pasta dish we had was decent and tasty. However, the remaining food we had a la carte was a real let-down: inconsistent seasoning, either too bland or too salty. The flavour was lacking. The signature pigeon dish was a real disappointment with the breast unseasoned and dry, no sauce or marinade to give any flavour. We found it was very unpleasant to eat unfortunately :( sadly, did not hit the mark.

10/10The food was excellent. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. We chose the tasting menu with 7 courses and we liked all the dishes except the pancake filled cheese and pickles. Happy that we chose Erbalugia.

10/10Outstanding food. The Che Fico dessert is one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. I went with friends who are quite fussy and they loved it. A special shout out to the sommelier who was so knowledgeable and kind. So nice to have a change from the usual Tuscan fare. I’m trying to work out when I can return again!

10/10I was greeted with the best smiles from the staff the minute I stepped into the restaurant. Service was impeccable. The highlight for me was the gazpacho, perfectly done, with a twist, for the hot summer night.

3/10I was excited for this restaurant, but was disappointed. Ordered the Cod fish and it took a while, then it came and I was not able to cut it and had bones in it. It was salted and not fresh and it was not cooked properly (the waitress said). I had already waited a while, so I decided not to get an entree. The zucchini bread was delicious and my daughter’s pasta in tomato sauce was okay (not great). It took a while for me to order a glass of wine and my daughter didn’t get her juice until we reminded the server. Then the dessert was a let down- we got the brioche with cooked peaches and caramel gelato. The brioche was dry, it had only one “hard” peach, and the gelato was a very small amount. My daughter said we got bread and not a real desert. The waiters were friendly and attentive, yet didn’t offer anything to make our experience better. The person next to us was choking on his meat which was scary. It was not busy, so I’m not sure why it wasn’t a great experience. : (

10/10We ate the tasting menu with wine pairings. The food was creative and excellent. One of our favorite dishes was the cold pasta with a sauce of tomato, strawberry and chili. The main course of rabbit was also noteworthy. We enjoyed every course which is not always the case with tasting menus in general. Great that they brought an orange wine to the table - interesting but thoughtful pairing. The service was thoughtful, informative - just the right touch. Thank you for the lovely evening

10/10A lovely spot in beautiful centre of Pisa. The garden is sublime but most of all the cooking is exceptional - possibly the most interesting and creative meal we have had in Italy. Highly recommended

10/10Everything was perfect, delicious food and great wine pairings. Confident and efficient service in English, with many seasonal offerings as we visited on the cusp of Autumn. Chef even delivered some seasonal sides personally. The tasting menu offered a variety of flavours and new experiences for us with a more than reasonable price tag. We would not hesitate to visit again and would recommend to anybody. Fantastic, amazing, a must visit when in Pisa. Thankyou to Chef Tati and both the front and back of house team.
