I have been coming here quite a few times before, and I have always liked this place, but this time they really disappointed me with the food and the service. The food was not up to my expectations this time, the Pad Thai was overcooked, the Japanese pancake was definitely not a pancake:( There was a kid standing and jumping on the sofa next to me, she almost stepped on my stuff, and no one stop her. I understand this is not the restaurant issue but it’s very disturbing and upsetting.

8/10The host, a middle aged man, was rude! In my reservation I requested a table near the window, NOT THE CROWDED area in back. That is exactly where he took us. I asked for a table near the window since five were empty. He refused. Lucky a server came to our rescue. Next time I walk in and see that host, I will just go to the server.

10/10The menu is fantastic for any vegetarian, vegan or pescatarian. Really nice waiting staff and beautiful surroundings (we were on the upstairs terrace).

7.5/10We had a nice visit at Flax & Kale. The vibe is more casual than the website suggests, but still pleasant. Service was friendly and helpful. Some dishes we wanted weren’t available, which was a pity, but the menu has plenty of creative, healthy choices. A good spot if you enjoy sustainable food with lots of greens and only a little focus on meat.

The space is beautiful, the staff were friendly and my server very attentive. The smoothie was great, but there are few vegan options. It's flexitarian meaning fish and eggs and there were only two vegan entrees. I went with the veggie burger my server recommended and it was so gross I almost threw up! That's bad. The drinks, desserts, and smoothies all looked good but the entree was super disappointing.
