This was our fourth time at Follis and we enjoyed our visit as much as the previous times. The staff recognizes us and is very friendly. The drinks are creative and the meal was very tasty. It has become our place for the last meal before traveling.

I found myself at Follis during an FCO layover on a Saturday afternoon. It just takes a few minutes to get there from the airport. And whatever time you invest getting there will be returned a hundred times over when you experience their awesome service and exceptional food. This is the real deal, folks. It always depends on what you are looking for, of course. But for me... I just don't see how the food or service could possibly get any better. Give it a try.

We had a lovely experience dining at this restaurant. The staff was excellent, the food was delicious, the sommelier recommended a lovely wine in our price range, the ceviche appetizer was amazing and both of our dinners were perfect.

Great place, great food and great service. My flight at Fiumicino airport was delayed so we decided to go for lunch somewhere nearby (6 minutes by car) and we were not disappointed.

We arrived on time and were promptly seated at a table inside (our request). From that point on, the service went downhill. The waitress seemed bored and put out with our menu questions. She listened to our order (did not write it down), repeated the order to us incorrectly so we did clarify further with her. We requested bread plates for the olive oil dipping. She brought 2, there were 4 of us. We asked about the insalata, she advised it was a "green salad". When it was delivered, that's exactly what it was, a GREEN salad. Only chopped iceberg lettuce, absolutely nothing more! We requested salt & pepper. Nothing appetizing whatsoever about the bowl of lettuce. Two of us ordered the "Tuna TacoS" from the menu. The order came with only one taco each; please remove the "s" on the menu as it implies more than one taco. All food, except for my husband's Grilled Tuna meal was delivered. We finished our meals but still waited for the Grilled Tuna to be delivered. Following a wait of 20 minutes, we asked about the grilled tuna dinner ordered. The waitress seemed perplexed that we had ordered that. Apparently, she had not placed the order. We waited another 10-15 minutes, way after the rest of us were well done eating, for the meal to arrive. Lots of personnel walking by the table but difficult to get anyone's attention. The restaurant was NOT busy while we were there. A handful of tables both inside and out were occupied. Based on the quality of food, the poor service and a waitress who appeared uninterested in her work, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Please note, we are Americans who travel frequently and are very much aware of the customs in other countries but, in comparison to other Italian restaurants we frequented during our 3-week stay in Italy, Follis left much to be desired.
