We asked for some chili sauce, had to wait sometime as the only staff serving had forgotten about it. The bill came with full amount, he only checked the reservation when I told him about my 'Fork' reservation. Won't go back again

If you blink, you'll miss it - but it's worth going in! Starters of dumplings and spring rolls were just-made fresh. Shrimp with ginger and leeks was perfectly done with an intriguing blend of flavors. Battered chicken was tasty (though there was more batter than chicken). Worth a second visit!

Food was delicious and a good price for Geneva, the place was pretty empty which was sad because I want them to stay open. We tried the tofu salad, black bean beef and Sichuan chicken, and I'm dying to go back already. Was so so good and the heat hit just right. Super flavorful and very nice staff. Definitely hope they get more business, especially considering how close they are to the train station!

The food was beautiful. Price was okay for Geneva. We were the only people in the restaurant and the staff sat watching videos on their phone loudly and then farted loudly twice whilst we were eating our food. Ruined the lovely meal that we had to be honest!

Food quality was fine, but in Chinese restaurants you expect the portions to come very big and filling, especially for the prices they charged. So it was a bit disappointing when I left the restaurant still a big hungry after having spent over 30 Fr. per person (w/o drinks).

This restaurant is surprisingly tiny (although I maybe should have got that from the photo! However, the food was really good, there was a large menu and it was very tasty and hot. I particularly enjoyed the crispy vegetable spring rolls and fried prawns and the fish and vegetable marmite. We had a lovely evening which ended up feeling like we had own private chef as we were the only people left in there. The service was very attentive. One thing to note, there is no wc in the restaurant, you have to be shown to a building a couple of doors down the street, go down stairs and round a basement corridor to use the one toilet. Find a toilet before you go!

This is a cute little restaurant that we might have overlooked had other places been open, but we're pleased we went. The food was fine and the service good. Our booking made and confirmed through the 'The Fork' didn't seem to reach the restaurant, and afterwards I received a follow up email which incorrectly assumed I had made a booking and just not turned up. So in summary a good eating experience but not so great service from 'The Fork'. Here's what that follow up email said: You recently booked a table at Forêt de Bambous on Sunday, 2 january 2022 at 19:00. Unless we're mistaken, it seems that you did not fulfill your booking. Next time you cannot make your reservation, please cancel. It only takes a minute, it will free your table for another customer, and the restaurant will appreciate it. Please note that recurring cancellations may result in the removal of your YUMS points or suspension of your account. Overall the food was just OK… We ordered a red curry chicken and a chicken Szechuan with vegetables. The chicken appeared to be boiled and was really rubbery and the flavor of both dishes were pretty bland I would say. A really disappointing dinner while in Geneva. The woman who helped us was very nice.

Attentive service - we just had the waiter recommend all the dishes and they were great - lots of vegetables with the meat. You're going there for the food, not the decor, but in summer the outdoor seating at the back in the inner courtyard is nice and calm despite the central location. However, we somehow ended up with a bill of 80 CHF for two (one drink each and the portions aren't huge) - it's a bit too much for me to think about coming back.

Delicious food with actual flavor! I’m not a fan of bland food and Forgêt de Bambous is full of real Asian flavors. We ordered the hot & sour soup, Schwann chicken, spring rolls and a beef dish that was recommended but we don’t know the name and chicken fried rice. It was so yummy!!!!
