The staff was excellent. The food very interesting.

The food was nice but for a supposed high end restaurant with a huge wine list we were left to our own devices navigating food and wine. The food was okay but not in its price/quality ratio. And asking for a glass of water (when our bill was already 300 euros), we were told “the city of Milan does not allow us to serve tap water” that’s got to be the oldest tourist trap trope ever. When paying the bill we were pressured in giving a 20% tip saying service is never included in Italy. This takes them off my list permanently. And adding salt to the wound we were told they had no Rosès on their wine list. One our way out the exit glass case was lined with over a half a dozen of them. Shame on them. This is shocking behavior for a restaurant on the Michelin guide.

Even during Olympic season a warm welcoming atmosphere. Great service along with so delicious food from Sardinia. Thanks for the excellent experience

The restaurant door was broken and didn’t close properly (it was around 0°C outside), so even though we weren’t sitting next to the door, we were still cold. The food was okay—we ordered the tasting menu—but we expected a bit more. We also waited to see if the waiter would recommend a wine to pair with it, because we had ordered a rosé, but he just took the order and left.

Good start at 19:30 with a smile of the service, table ok with seats totally worn. Menue card offers a good variety of choices, I choose the menue from the land of sardinia with pairing wine flight. Thin bread slices were exceptional, first Wagyu tartare course a little bit heavy sauce or thick foam and rather hard bigger meat pieces. Matching wine was ok. Second lamb ragout was not bad. Service has unfortunately commingeld the wine. Main dish maialetto arrosto was heavily overcooked with prominent dark bitter taste. Wine had no chance to compete with. Chocolate dessert was good with a oxidated red sweet wine not matching the dessert. The half filled restaurant emptied rather fast with me as last guest remaining. There is some room for improvement from my point of view, maybe I had captured a suboptimal day in the kitchen, whereas the Michelin tester had luck.

While our meal was unexpected and outstanding, Mile, the maitre d, made our evening memorable. He helped us to navigate the menu, made lovely recommendations and regaled us with humorous stories. Not being familiar with Sardinia cuisine, we didn’t know what to expect but our entrees were delicious. The Sardinia wine list is extensive and mot readily available outside Sardinia so that was a treat Highly recommend a visit.

We had dinner at Frades on our last night in Milan and we could not be more happy with that choice, the food was outstanding and the service was the best we had in all Italy on our 3 week vacation. This restaurant is worthy of a Michelin Star every bite was a symphony to the palete.

For my final evening in Italy, I chose to dine at Frades Porto Cervo - Milano, a Sardinian gem that proved a sublime farewell. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere enveloped me—the gentle music, warm lighting, and elegant decor created a setting both refined and inviting. The service was impeccable: gracious, attentive, and sincere. I opted for the land-based tasting menu, laced generously with freshly shaved truffles—each course a delicate, earthy revelation. The flavours were vibrant yet balanced, capturing the soul of Sardinian cuisine with finesse and flair. As I savoured the last bite, a thought took root: I must go to Sardinia. This meal didn’t just satisfy—it inspired. A perfect, poetic end to an unforgettable journey.

Food was very moderate, tartar without any adds, just raw meat (not the best one). Spaghetti with lobster- good bisk and pasta, but nothing special. While from lobster there was like 20g of lobster meat. What was really negative surprise- we ordered white wine and received that totally warm!!! Asked to put it on ice and meanwhile to serve “definitely an ice-cold champagne “. And - surprise again- it was not cold again! Just to add- first starter arrived in 40 minutes after ordering. And wine even after that!

Really superb dining experience and a fine introduction into Sardinian cuisine. Great staff and atmosphere are very well worth mentioning.

Overrated, food was very average especially for a fine dining restaurant. No new flavors and very basic portions.

Not satisfied, just a marketing overpriced product in order to make more money in Milan. Pity but at least we tried.
