Our waiter was incredible and she made the evening enjoyable. However, I was promised a 5 star risotto in Milan and it definitely wasn’t. I algo saw some folks complaining about the risotto. Not worth the penny $$. You can find cheaper options around.

I think a restaurant service charge is ridiculous despite a low amount - the principle of the charge is bad. Veal was dry as were the potatoes. Appetizer bruschetta was very good and the tiramisu was delicious. Very close to our air bnb but I would not recommend it to any one.

Our hotel concierge recommended Al Cantinone Unione and it was a great pick! Amazing food and great wine selection. We started with the Trio of Bruschette then ended with the beef filet and risotto - all delicious! We wanted a true taste of Milanese risotto and this did not disappoint. But the best was the wine - their Bonarda was incredible and paired perfectly with our meal. We ended up buying a bottle to take home!

One the of the nicest dining experiences I’ve had, very ambient and relaxing. The service was unreal, always on hand but not imposing. I went for a veal Milanese risotto and it did not disappoint. Wine great and very reasonable. Would go again.

We had hoped this version of Il Cantinone would be like the original. It was not. Although the appetizers were very good, everything else was not well-presented and monotonous after the first bite, and my house spaghetti was way-overpowered by the anchovies. Also, they didn’t have the ability to make simple, even traditional, drinks well. Our waitress was sweet, but both at the beginning and end of the meal no one was paying any attention.
