9.5/10Our hotel concierge recommended Al Cantinone Unione and it was a great pick! Amazing food and great wine selection. We started with the Trio of Bruschette then ended with the beef filet and risotto - all delicious! We wanted a true taste of Milanese risotto and this did not disappoint. But the best was the wine - their Bonarda was incredible and paired perfectly with our meal. We ended up buying a bottle to take home!

10/10One the of the nicest dining experiences I’ve had, very ambient and relaxing. The service was unreal, always on hand but not imposing. I went for a veal Milanese risotto and it did not disappoint. Wine great and very reasonable. Would go again.

5/10We had hoped this version of Il Cantinone would be like the original. It was not. Although the appetizers were very good, everything else was not well-presented and monotonous after the first bite, and my house spaghetti was way-overpowered by the anchovies. Also, they didn’t have the ability to make simple, even traditional, drinks well. Our waitress was sweet, but both at the beginning and end of the meal no one was paying any attention.

5.5/10They overcharge tourists intentionally. CHECK YOUR BILL. To top it off the food is mediocre at best. Do yourself a big favor and skip this place.

10/10We ate at both of the Al Cantinone restaurants while we were in Milan and both were great. Lovely and lively ambience, delicious food, nice selection of wines, Reasonable prices. Highly recommend it.

2/10I feel it was overpriced for the service and food I've got. I said I have an allergic to carrot but no one understood. So I couldn't eat any part of the salad. I hardly recommend here.

9.5/10The food was delicious. Risotto with lemon and mint was wonderful, as was beef carpaccio and veal milanese. Service was attentive -- including calling us a taxi at the end of the meal, when it was raining. Highly recommend.

10/10Nice atmosphere. Mor quiet and romantic than other places, especially in the front left seating area. Staff was very helpful. Ossobuco with risotto milanese was so tender and delicious.
