This is a fairly highend and not inexpensive hotel restaurant, but it came close to a disaster. Fortunately, the staff turned it around. Once seated we were presented with menus. Within less than four or five minutes we were asked unceremoniously if we were ready to order. The waiter seemed taken aback that we were not ready to order. Shortly after that a second waitress asked if we were ready to order. A bit later the waiter returned to once again unceremoniously ask for our order. I asked why he was in such a rush and he was not happy with the question. We ordered. My first dish was not correct, and when told, the waiter seemed to not believe me. The correct dish was brought a bit later with many apologies from both the waiter and waitress. The atmosphere of the initial chaos had now settled down. The food was excellent, which also helped, plus an excellent wine was suggested. My first course was provided on the house and I graciously thanked them for that thoughtful consideration.

We had a lovely quiet romantic dinner away from the hussle and bustle of the old city of Naples after a long day touring the Amalfi Coast. Perfect place to enjoy a beautiful meal on our last evening in the city. Staff were wonderful and their recommendations regarding the menu and wine were perfect for us. Thoroughly enjoyable and the palazzo dining room is spectacular to experience. Highly recommend a lunch or dinner here!

The service was attentive and the food was well prepared. We had a great lunch, and because it is in a hotel, it wasn’t very crowded. It is an easy walk from the Duomo.

Impressive venue. A lovely setting for a quiet evening after a hectic day walking around Naples. The food was really good; the vegetable starter I had was truly delicious and memorable followed by some well cooked tasty fish. Good service, nice relaxed atmosphere.

Pasta was great! Entrecôte was excellent as well. Only the veal tasted like nothing. Desert was good. Service was the weak spot. They were extremely nice, yet clumsy. Not filling up wine glasses. And taking the candles off the table while we are our desert to signalise we should be leaving soon.
