We had a very good experience. Great place beside the river. Open space for the kids to play around whilst waiting for food and after eating. Food was superb. Fish burger amazing.

We had the set menu because it seemed much more valuable as it was 25 Euro for 3 courses which was close to the price for most of the main meals alone on the A La Carte. The starter was nice (tartlet) but the main and dessert were not impressive. The chips and vegetables were swimming in grease and salt and chicken very tough. I don't know how you can get a fruit salad wrong but it was inedible - mushy fruit that didn't seem fresh. We may have had unfortunate luck with our choice of food, positives were a nice setting by the river, helpful staff and good service. Was just disappointed by the food.

The setting is lovely, the staff nice. The whole fish and melon with jambon hit the mark; the rest of our food was good but somewhat bland. The food is traditional French and so is the pace. It was a busy summer evening and the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed. There were mix ups with the first two courses and so some of us ended up waiting a long long time for our main course. We had booked for an early dinner as we are a family, and we're among the first to arrive and the last to finish eating. I imagine it would be an ideal place to eat on a less crowded night. The views of the castle were gorgeous.
