A group of 10 staying long term in the area visited Au fil de l'eau for dinner. Several ordered pizza which were rated okay by the teenagers, the hamburger was rated as a good option, the salmon was good, the chevre salad was consumed with vigor, the camembert option was good but too much, my pasta carbonara was excellent. One of party is celiac and there was but one option of "sans gluten" on the chalkboard, not a regular part of the menu. Seafood tartare. Not a viable option. Only a few restaurants in this region seem to understand, perhaps Paris is more helpful? Our trips to Italy found many more restaurants attentive to patrons' needs. Otherwise, the ambiance of the tables by the river and the ducks with their babies are attractive.

This little restaurant was a great find. The pizza was delicious - we asked if the chef was Italian, it tasted like authentic Italian pizza. The salade du chevre with proscuitto was terrific too. And the vanilla and chocolat ice cream with chantilly creme was excellent. We will definitely return to Au Fils de L'eau.
