Dankoewel! Nice food, excellent service! We had a wonderful dinner, boys had spareribs and a steak, my wife a low cooked beef with a porcini risotto and moules frites for me. Nice view of the harbour, easy stroll from the old town.

One of my favorite meals during our month-long stay in Nice - we have a few days left before we leave and I am plotting on how to sneak in another visit. The menu is straightforward, however, the ingredients are high quality and the flavors layered and thoughtful. The highlights included the gazpacho with a hint of strawberry (still thinking about it!), the beef daub over wheat bulgur that was fall off your fork tender, and the cod over pea puree. The owner, Yannick, was a fantastic host and if you have ever been to San Francisco, his experience spans pretty much every French restaurant there - Hyde Bistro reflects his journey in its flavors.
