10/10Suggestive location. Pleasant, competent and very helpful staff. Owner made himself available for a congenial conversation. Risotto and pappardelle cooked and seasoned to perfection. Good wine selection featuring Tuscan classics. Highly recommended. Complimenti!

10/10The restaurant was clean and inviting. We arrived before other guests so it was quiet. Our waiter was attentive. He anticipated our questions and had the answers.

10/10This was a great find. We selected online based on other reviews and all 6 in our dinner party thought the food was excellent and at a reasonable price. The outdoor seating area is very nice with a great view of the castle.

10/10The helpfulness of all the staff and especially Lorenzo, was quite amazing. He wanted to make sure all of us were happy with the food, service, wine and the ambience. A great evening dinner and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Highly recommend this restaurant.

10/10The food, service and ambiance were all spot on. The owner has the most wonderful dog that they let us keep at our table while we ate. We lost our dog not long ago and miss having one around. The dog made friends with all who wanted a furry friend. Good English, wonderful recommendations for food and wine. What a lovely afternoon.

10/10An awesome family-owned gem of a restaurant serving regional dishes, with a spectacular terrace overlooking Porta Volterrana. Best Florentine steak we had during our 10 day trip in Tuscany. To top it all off, wonderful service by the owner’s son, Lorenzo, taking pride in not only the local cuisine and region but also the history of the town. We were so enamoured that we came back for another evening of local culinary delights. Not to be missed if you’re in the vicinity!!
