Where do I start ? - Booked for 2.30pm on line as travelling from Rome that morning only to be greeted with ‘ The kitchen closes at 3pm and Italians don’t eat now ‘ . - Not interested in our booking - took ages to have our order taken - no plates with the bread - food average - inside like a canteen - and final straw they did not take the fork 20% off with out being asked - There are loads of restaurants in San Gimi so my advice would be to choose another On a minor plus side once he had got over the grump and poor first impression the waiter was relatively pleasant

we had dinner here , it is a large modern restaurant inside with table in the street outside. the pizzas were good and the service efficient and friendly. Busy and quite noisy inside but more relaxed and quieter outside

The ambiance was good, because we ate at a table on the street, something that many restaurants in San Gimignano offers. Had we eaten inside, I am sure the ambiance rating would be a lot lower. When I went inside to pay the bill, it was hot and noisy. Food was truly awful, with service to match. There are many fine restaurants in San Gimignano. Pick ine of them.

The food, particularly the risotto, was good. The service was friendly. We noticed several people feasting on Tuscan steak and loving it. The thing we liked most was that it was off the tourist track so there were lots of locals having a great time. That’s sometimes tough to find in San Gimignano!

San Gimignano is a must see village in Tuscan. We recommend Il Fuedo for dinner. Located just outside the crowded centre, friendly staff, tasteful food and a fair price. The ravioli with truffle and the grilled lamb chops were delicious. We ve had a pleasant experience.

The restaurant is very big with a seating area outside parallel to the street and one in front of the restaurant. We sat in the one parallel to the street, so it was a bit loud with the cars. However, the space was pretty. We ordered 2 pastas. Order the one with zafferano. It was delicious.
