4/10food was average. they sat us upstairs in a strange overflow dining room with a tour group. When the tour group left we were sitting by ourselves in a huge room with waiters cleaning up 25 tables in front of us while we tried to eat dinner. It was noisy and horrible. It was extremely rude of them to seat us there... honestly, it was mean. On top of that, the food was average and we did not see our waitress again until it was time to pay. They wasted a dining out opportunity for us and we only were in town for 3 nights. Such a lovely town but such a sad evening out. We have never been treated so poorly in a restaurant.

10/10Our table had gnocchi with a fennel salad. Another had the duck and two had a chicken dish . Everyone loved their choices! I would recommend this as a not to miss dining experience in Assisi!

6/10Fold was ok - but the Music was irritating - same short tune going on in a cycle. Nice to see all the locals and the family gatherings. Go there if you want pizza

10/10The food was excellent. It was typical Italian fare, very tasty. Great pasta, wonderful parmigiana pizza with melanzane and the truffled salad was the best I’ve ever had.

5.5/10Food was good. But service really poor. We ordered water which didn’t arrive and after 15 mins had to ask again. My wife had her main course arrive and I asked her to start eating while waiting for mine to arrive, she had finished before I had mine 15 mins later.

5/10We are vegan, the waiter had zero interest in helping us select food the could be adapted. We made our own adaptations, he dumped our food on the table and we never saw him again. After about half an hour another waitress came by and actually was willing to help us with dessert and coffee.

We arrived earlier than we had booked (12:30 instead of 1:00 on a Sunday), and it wasn’t busy (yet) so they accommodated us without a problem. By the time we left around 1:30 it was quite packed. Greeter and wait staff were all friendly and new English quite well. My 16-yr-old son and I ordered 2 pizzas which were served very quickly - both were excellent, delicious and cooked to perfection - thin crust crispy (not burnt/crunchy) on the outside and a bit softer toward the middle. The number of pizza options were staggering - 4-6 pages worth. One pizza each was enough to fill both of us. My 16-year-old said “best pizza he’s ever had”. If your group needs variety, there’s much more than just pizza on the menu and we can’t speak for those options, but if the pizza is any indication of the quality ingredients and cooking mastery, you will not be disappointed.

Overall we had good impression, most of the dishes come very fast, but they didn’t come out in right order (starting foccacia came in the middle of eating main dish). Grilled octopus was great but arrived once others already fished their meal, it was worth to wait, but shouldn’t be like that. Rissoto had very fatty becon and kids didn’t want to eat it, even rissoto as such was good. Tagliata from chicken was the best dish on our table, foccacia also was good.
