Sitting outside and having the view was wonderful. The service was excellent and so was the food. It is a bit touristy as there are groups staying there. It was noisy and crowded in the bar but dining in the terrace outside was pleasant.

Over priced tourist trap. Annoying server, asked 4 times if we wanted to order before we finally gave up telling him we were enjoying vino and talking. Once we ordered he disappeared. Had to get up to find him after waiting 30 mins for the glass of wine I ordered. Food took forever to show up. Portions were tiny, overcooked and overpriced. Don't get sucked in by the fantastic view. The dining room was hot and when we asked for ventilation they had no answer. Pretty decor but with the plethora of dining spots in town skip this place and go elsewhere.

Nice place, good food. The music is a bit too loud and when the covered terrace is full, it is quite noisy. The crème brulée with lavander is a dream!

Although the food was very good, I was somewhat disappointed by the ambiance and service. Small children running around the restaurant were not what I expected. Had I known this was a family restaurant, I would have approached dinner differently. I was disappointed in the service when I ordered coffee and dessert and received my coffee so far before dessert that I had to drink it before it was completely cold while still waiting for dessert. When dessert finally arrived, I ordered another coffee. It would have been nice for the staff to recognize the delay in dessert and time the coffee and dessert together. Compared to other experiences in Assisi, I will not return to L'Estasi.

Our first night in Assisi. Relaxed in the restaurant of our hotel, Giotto. Easy to find. Parking on level near the door. Excellent service and view over the Umbrian valley and steeples of lower ASSISI. Ask to sit out in the glass atrium if it is cool out. The patio if it is warm. Interesting and varied menu selections.

The view at sunset was amazing. The fixed price menu was an excellent value with nice portions. The food was expertly prepared and the service attentive and not rushed. A fantastic meal.

The setting amazing. The service from the staff amazing and personal, I have to thank Giovanni the most for both excellent advice on wine and service in general. The food was sublime. The staff are of the highest standard and I can’t wait to come again.
