10/10Il Passatempo is always a favorite, and with everyone I have ever taken there as well. Pino welcomes everyone with a smile and a personal word. The place is warm and pleasant, and the food is always different and ... exceptional!!

10/10This is clearly one of my favorite restaurants in Brussels! Pino is imaginative, fun and generous. The food is always delicious. It is not inexpensive, but it is worth every Euro. You can never go wrong here.

5.5/10We had hoped this restaurant would be an undiscovered gem: no website, no public menu, no wine lists... most of our foodie friends hadn’t tried it, I thought we were onto something! We had a lovely meal, but it was definitely not the taste sensation one normally expects from a tasting menu. Neither the chef nor wait staff care to present the dishes and explain what you are eating. When I asked for wine pairing, I was asked “red or white” and was brought (presumably) a glass of house wine, as there was no further discussion. The chef clearly has a lot of regular customers who he absolutely adores. We tried very hard to get in his good graces, so that we might also get oil for our bread or Parmesan for the table, as his friends did, but he didn’t really have time for us. Perfectly decent restaurant, but nothing special for those who enjoy seeking out tasting menus and up and coming chefs.
