This place has a huge potential, unfortunately it is not run as it should. The waiters are probably in training, some of them don't even speak English, and considering that it's the restaurant/bar of a 5 stars hotel, it is not acceptable. Food is just average, the location is wonderful but the way in which the sun shades are organised is really bad, and you end up with Sundays on your head.

Servers were kind enough. Bread was dry, octopus was very tough. Overall disappointing experience.

Made four days ahead a reservation. By arrival… not the requested table. We ordered a drink, servant came with one drink. Food was good, nothing more. One woman came up to us and said ‘sorry, for the inconvenience, the food is for us. Then I’ve payed 140,00 euro. Aswel the restaurant as the hotel… never again!

The service was incredible, the ambiance was lovely. Regarding food, we got as starters rhe croquetas de jamon and the octopus starter. Both of them absolutely delicious, the reduction on the octopus was delicious and the grey alioli was an impressive touch. Then as a main course we got the shrimp burgers with guacamole. Was expecting something fancier than literal shrimp on top of a supermarket bun. The bun was not properly toasted, the guacamole seeped into it and made the whole burger very mushy. It was rather unpleasant as a texture. The taste was fine. Then as dessert we got the flan catalan and the caffe gourmande. The caffe gourmande was just ok, coffee machine product. The flan was not set yet so it was very soupy. From the starters, to the main and then the dessert, the experience kept losing points. The starters though, they were truly impeccable. Would 100% recommend the starters and I would stay away from the shrimp burgers.

The food was incredible. The prices are a bit much for what it is. Cocktails were not that great. But the space and atmosphere of the place was nice

I went there for lunch on a Sunday for my birthday excellent service, the food was great and very quiet if you are looking for a quiet environment

The food was great but when I chose to have my meal as a main course instead of a starter ( a cauliflower ) I basically had one and a half cauliflower… A bit disappointing but everything else was great 👌🏾

We had a great dinner, group of 5 colleagues. Perfect service and great food, and even some live music. It was perfect.

Frantz and his collueges gave us a wonderfull experiences. The food was excellent, so was the wine, and the kindness and hospitality of the staf was of a high level. Great prep for Bal National which was only a 10 min walk from the restaurant.

Food here is excellent! Better than just basic dishes, which is what we were looking for. Wine offerings are great as well. We had lovely severs and really enjoyed the experience.

It is a nice place but the menu is limited and the service could be slightly better. When we arrived somehow they had no record of my reservation so we were kept a long while before another staff member confirmed we had registered. We were not offered any apology or drinks in the mean time; But the place is nice place to be on a sunny day.

Excellent food, but even if the service was extremely friendly, there were just too many mistakes (an dish that was forgotten, a coffee that was said to be offered to apologise for the delay but was billed anyway, an aperitif that was never ordered but showed up on the bill…).

The restaurant needs a bit of refreshment and is in need of more staff to keep up it's lux image that it portraits in its ads and photo's. The pictures of the terrace have been taken in the total beginning when the designer had laid out the premises. If you go now, the whole setting has been changed. More tables and not so loungy any more. It feels like the designer is not anymore consulted unfortunately...The food is good and the BBQ - grill is a nice add on to the cuisine and offer. The service is very slow. The staff is pleasant and correct for this type of hotel restaurant but very understaffed. Hence long waiting times and poor service level. The airco didn't work during a hot summer evening and the toillets and sink were blocked. Strange for a 4 star hotel and Sofitel level. I hope the management will give more attention again to the restaurant and terrace because it is a shame that it is let a bit on the side.
