It was a very memorable evening as I was proposing to my partner. The staff made sure everything was just as I asked . We were unsure of the menu choices , but staff helped and even brought use a few dishes to help use on our way . The food was delicious and we will look forward in going there next year . Highly recommended and I’m a fussy eater . Thank you once again for making it a memorable night . Chris & Tracy

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal this evening at JEF Gastrobar. Flavors are unique and intense. Servings of each course are small but with amuse-bouche and delicious bread, the meals are filling and tasty. The restaurant is best for adventurous eaters.

We were having a pre concert dinner, and didn’t know what to expect. We were delighted with the service, and the food was just spectacular. We loved all ohr courses, and my hisband especially loved the lamb main course. The flavours were stunning, and the lady who served us was exceptional. (All of them really). We loved it and would def come back if we are back in Maastricht.

Good service, main ingredients were lost in fruits, salty cheeses and syrups. Zero balance in tastes accross whole menu. great game of textures, great enthusiasm in building each unique dish, and they *were* all unique, but a long way from perfection. Oysters were very good and innovative with the sauce. The special dessert (which is not in the menu) was also not bad. would love to come again and experience an improvement. For me it's a 5.5 / 10. Lack of balance, too many ingredients in one dish. Nice ambiance. *tip:* take off the huge lamp above the corner table- it doesn't match the rest of the restaurant and it seasoned our whole menu course with house dust

Absolutely the best restaurant I’ve had in the Netherlands. Everything was perfection from the ambience, food, wine selections and service. Totally recommend and will be visiting again.

The service was impeccable. The food was very refined, tasty and extremely well presented too. I had 2 glasses of wine: Pinot Noir and Malbec. I was slightly disappointed with the Malbec, but the Pinot Noir was excellent. I enjoyed the vegetarian option. I would definitely come back. The waitress was great.

Great restaurant really good food and very friendly service. There was a cold draft in the restaurant and they did all possible to solve this. Also great wine list. Good value for money. Cosy seating.

Everything was really great! The service and each and every dish was fabulous. The right amount, the right combination of flavors, the presentation of the dishes, the price - quality. I know a lot of great restaurants but this one is remarkable as until the coffee with the chocolate bon bon tasted great. Decoration = love it ! I would go back more often if I lived closer by.
