9/10Good food, good service and great ambience. Loved the fish and chips. And the staff was very hospitable and caring and the restaurant was nice and warm.

10/10Staff were very helpful even though it was busy on New Year’s Eve.. food was lovely , plenty of choice and portions size was just right. Excellent value for money. Will definitely be returning.

9/10This restaurant is a treasure of Maastricht. If you are planning to visit, a reservation is definitely recommended since only the outdoor seating is first-come-first-served. The beer menu is legendary, but if you don't know what to order, the waiters can make a good suggestion. On a Friday/Saturday night, be prepared to enjoy your meal over a few hours because it can get VERY busy.

9/10crazy choice of beers ,always polite staff and very good food. I advise you to book at least 7 days in advance especially for the weekend . the terrace is not reserved

10/10I highly recommend De Gouverneur. They have delicious food and beer. Have been three times and always a good choice. My favorite spot in Maastricht.

7/10Very good service and beer list. But as a Belgian I was disappointed about the "Belgian food" (not proper fries, bouchées a la reine, even the boulets liégeoise were missing something...)

9/10Wonderful dinner outside, meanwhile watching passers by, so great! The number of (special) beers is mind boggling, just pick one and enjoy! Must go when in Maastricht!

8/10Dishes were so nice and we can enjoy choosing favourite beers. But we went there with little kids, and then we felt this place was not for family with children. Because there were few services and meals for kids and too loud inside for them.

5.5/10We booked a time sloth from 17:30-19:30, but at 19:00 the waiter gave us the bill without questions and told us we had to leave... while we had been waiting since 18:30 to order dessert and another drink... they took forever to take our order and almost didn’t check up on us... then told us to leave while we still wanted to order something???????????????? besides this we did like the food and the beer... the experience was disappointing tho

10/10Huge portions and a lot of different beers. Shame that they haven't put their beer menu on Untappd. The terrace was full so we sat inside which was fine.
