10/10The decor and ambience were prefect. The restaurant accommodated my wish for a table in the centre. The food is exceptional and every dish is presented beautifully and tastes amazing. We opted for the 5 course taster menu with wine flight, and our waiter spoke perfect English, and was both knowledgeable and charming

+1From the moment we walked in, we knew we were going to have a great experience at Jour de Marché (new name is Krak). We started with an amuse bouche of blood sausage with a meringue of horseradish. Two things I wasn’t sure I would like, but they were delicious! Then we moved onto our appetizers which were peppers served two ways including some thinly sliced sausage chips. My husband had smoked mackerel with peas and yuzu ice cream served under a dome. Entrée was swordfish with a savory tomato confit and Iberian pork served with jus and a mélange of vegetables. Finally, we had the dessert which was like nothing I’ve ever seen, strawberries with beetroot ravioli . Everything was so inventive, beautiful, and heavenly to eat. My husband mentioned how much he likes Chartreuse when ordering a cocktail before the meal, and the server surprised us by bringing us each a snifter at the end of the meal gratis. We would definitely come again!

Exceptional food and service. Each dish served was a unique experience with tasteful and delicious food. I highly recommend this restaurant. I have visited several times and never been disappointed.

+1Exceptional service. Very friendly, attentive and informative regarding the dishes. We got the dégustation menu. All of the dishes featured French dishes with modern spins. They were are delicious, and our general favorite was the mushroom and poached egg. The dessert was divine, and I won't say more about it to not ruin the surprise.

7.5/10Sadly we were the only diners inside so no atmosphere which may also have influenced our review. Not as good as we hoped as the ideas didn’t work that well. Some nice flavours but nothing that made us go ‘wow!’ We’re not fans of smears of food across the plate or little jugs of sauce if they don’t add anything. More about chef’s skills than a tasty plate of food.

9.5/10We very much enjoyed our dinner at jour de marche. The food was really excellent, and the waiter made us feel very welcome and spoke English. He was reassuring and made our experience even more enjoyable and relaxed, which is not always the case in France.
