The food is beautiful, tasty and creative. A short menu, elegant choices with unexpected yet simple ingredients and preparations, fresh vegetables handled with love, excellet meat and fish. A lively dish with tapenades and an eggplan puree for sharing, a tuna tataki with oriental flavours and chicken dish (A Ukranian staple, rivisited) with a fantastic pea-based side); a chocolate and beetroot dessert we liked a lot. Bread is baked in-house ( gluten-free available AND good). The wine list is short and well thought, we had a Georgian white, very nice. The room is managed with grace, attention and a smile, the decor modern, the chairs comfortable, the overall experience greatly enjoyable. Prices within range.

This is an excellent French restaurant. Make no mistake. Malva offers fine French food while showcasing Ukrainian style dishes. Each of my wife and my 3 dishes was delectable. The food is delicate and light. The ingredients were really fresh. Everything was delicious. This restaurant alone gives us reason to return to Lyon.

We went with a Ukrainian friend after checking out the menu online which had vegetarian options. The food turned out to be extraordinary. Each dish was a work of art. Simplicity, taste and skill in execution. The story of the Chef is to be discovered absolutely!
