Totally overated restaurant. We were a group of four portuguese people and none of us were satisfied with our dishes. This is totally a tourist oriented restaurant, were authentique traditional portuguese dishes are only by name not by quality. Service is very friendly but some of the staff members are very unprofessional, not knowinhg exactly what they are doing or even knowing the menu. Would I recommend this restaurant NO.

This place is an absolute treasure! The service truly stands out—every staff member was attentive, friendly, and made our evening feel special. You can see the passion they put into everything they do. As for the food, it was simply extraordinary. The octopus was perfectly tender, and the risotto was a flavorful masterpiece. Each dish was a culinary experience in itself, leaving us eager to try more. Though the space is small, it’s incredibly cosy with a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. If you’re in Lisbon, this is the place to be for an unforgettable meal. Highly recommend!

Another wonderful meal at L-Tasca by Maria Peixeira. We discovered this restaurant during our visit last in May, we have returned five times and every time both the food and service has been excellent. The entire staff is attentive, the chef makes delicious food. This meal we had the Sirloin with stout & mushroom sauce and the pork with clams. We recommend both. We say they are excellent in service, excellent for the food and excellent for atmosphere.

The staff was amazing and friendly with us, we mistakenly booked for 6 but we were 8 and they swiftly found a solution and accommodated us anyway. The food was very well served and tasty.
