We had Christmas lunch at La Bedaine in Strasbourg. We were visiting from Melbourne, Australia. It was just lovely. The service was warm and friendly and the food and wine were delicious. It was perfect for Christmas lunch on the other side of the world!

Cher Monsieur, Vous avez choisi un verre de Pinot Noir d'Alsace, vin qui se boit par tradition aussi frais qu'un vin blanc. Au lieu de bouder, il aurait été plus positif de nous poser la question, nous vous aurions renseigné avec le sourire. Le sourire, vous savez ? Ce qui sert a faire lien avec les gens et faire passer des good vibes.... Belle journée à vous et joyeuses fêtes de Noël !

We had a couple of days in Strasbourg during our European holiday and were looking for a nice Christmas lunch experience. The restaurant is cosy, the food good, and service friendly. The wine list is modest but the quality well matched to their menu (the grand cru gewurtztraminer especially pretty). The restaurant is located in a lovely part of the old city; when we emerged from the restaurant after our pleasant Christmas dinner the place was buzzing with tourists (not their fault!) Overall, we loved our Xmas day meal at La Bedaine and we’d go again with pleasure!

We went with friends for our Sunday lunch: the service was excellent, all the the food looked fantastic. I had the grand salmon salad: it was very tasty, there could have been more greens for the price. Overall: everyone in our party was very satisfied.

6.5/10We were disappointed in the restaurant we went to with expectations. There was almost no half of the menu they shared in The Fork application, so we had a limited choice. The quality and taste of the plates were average. Dessert options were almost non-existent. In the end, we were not very satisfied, thank you for hosting us.

6.5/10The food was good and the location too. The problem is that even though The Fork app had a discount on the "à la carte" menu, we paid full price. We only noticed at the end of the meal that at the bottom of one page of the menu it was indicated that it was impossible to offer a discount. We found this very deceptive and annoying… So ne careful!
