The most underwhelming food we had in Puglia. Overcooked pasta, dry fish. Was so not worth the drive. In addition to that, they’re very uptight about letting guests into Borgo Egnazia for an aperitivo before the reservation time, which spoils the experience even further. Especially knowing that the hotel is half empty.

My experience was not so good. The good was tasty except the mussels were almost invisible and the broth was over salted. The waitress said the fish choice was not served with anything which was not the case. My most disappointed aspect was my on line reservation was not noted by the hostess leaving us with a terrible seat

Our experience at La Frasca was extremely disappointing. While the setting was very pretty, the restaurant was filled with large tables full of unsupervised children running around so the atmosphere was not good. The pasta was ordinary and swimming in buttery sauce. We ordered chicken for two as a main dish, While carving the chicken, the waitress dropped half on the floor. She asked if we wanted a new one but we had already waited an hour. Then there was no attempt to make it up to us. On the contrary, the waitress tried to cover it up. Plus the chicken that we did have was absolutely awful. Worst meal we had in Italy. Too bad that was our last meal in Puglia!
