Superb food, attentive fast service and a fantastic view. We like fish and the tuna and the calamari were really, really good. It is the last restaurant on the seafront for those walking from the castle so this makes it quieter than the others. Well worth the extra 2 minutes walk.

The octopus salad was excellent, as was the seafood risotto. The grilled octopus could have used more marinade or a dressing. The wine came out very warm - unnaturally so. They store it just outside the open kitchen, so it must get overheated. The service was pleasant and well timed but not outstanding.

Service was very good. Reasonably priced. Pasta and Risotto first course dishes delicious. Grilled seafood second dish was could but I thought the calamari was tough. Having said that they took the time to come to the table and explain that it cooks that way when grilled. I’m no Italian so that may be normal but I would suggest substituting another type of fish instead. I definitely eat there again.

Sadly this was our last meal at the end of a two-week trip in Italy where we were fortunate enough to have some spectacular meals at seriously good restaurants. We stopped here at our way to the airport and order seared tuna served with caponata. It was not possible to cut the thick slice of tuna because it full of sinew and the pieces were very thick. We were unable to eat very much of the tuna. We booked the table before arriving but I do not think the person who greeted us made an attempt to confirm our arrival because The Fork later emailed to question whether we had not arrived for our reservation.

The view of the ocean and beach was wonderful. The food was decent but not exceptional. The service was not professional. It was team service and nobody managed the table. We were the first ones there and our food took over 50 minutes to come out. They probably were not ready to open. I think they are a new place so maybe they need time.
