The food was cold and they did not do anything to improve the situation. I do not understand that they can be recommended by Michelin Guide

Come le abbiamo spiegato i fagiolini li serviamo tiepidi e non caldi, il pesce come ci ha confermato anche lei era ben caldo. Poi lei ha preso i fagiolini con le mani e li ha lanciati nel piatto. Un gesto maleducato e animalesco. Dal quel momento ci siamo defilati e abbiamo aspettato che andasse via. Non pensiamo che i ristoranti Michelin vogliano un cliente cosi. Saluti.

The L’Ouvo di Carbonara was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. Our server was personable and very inviting. The wine was delicious and a perfect pairing to our dishes. Everything was exceptional. The tortolli con funghi was otherworldly and the tonno with carrot crema was cooked to perfection. This is one of our favorite meals in Italy so far.

Forma was the perfect choice for our family reunion in Civitavecchia. The food was absolutely brilliant, the service was super. My sisters and their husbands could return to the UK with a wonderful memory of superlative Italian cuisine.

I recently dined at The Forma, and it was a delightful experience. The food was absolutely fantastic—each dish was prepared with care and tasted wonderful. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and charming, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed meal. A special mention goes to our waiter, who was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Their warm demeanor really added to the overall positive experience. The food was wonderful, both in terms of type and style of dishes and quality of the ingredients. The high level of professionalism in the kitchen makes it pure enjoyment. The service is excellent and helpful. The wine recommendations (Franciacorta and a Vermentino from the region) were very good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very "homely", elegant but not intrusive - just very inviting and pleasant. The price-quality ratio is correct. I fully recommend it!

The tasting menu was fun but there is so much on this menu that looks good… this was our fort time there for a pre cruise dinner.. I see why Michelin give s it a bib gourmand..maybe it’s an Italian thing but a couple brought their 3 year old and she was screaming and threw a fit and ran into the kitchen while the parents didn’t do much…lots of creativity in the food but the chef is over reliant on crème as it appeared in too many courses….seems to bee the nicest restaurant in the area and was surprised to be the only non locals in there and that was nice… if your looking for creative cuisine and a fun menu and a beautiful atmosphere this is definitely worth a meal!! Good value in the tasting menu for sure

Great atmosphere and great service (minus wine understanding). The issue we had here was expectations and so maybe the issue is ours alone. We've been to Michelin rated restaurants (ranging from a mention to 3 stars). The food at Forma was very good, but just not at the level similar to previous rated restaurants we've been to before. That being said, the bill was 1/5 what we have paid before (1/15 in the case of Alinea) although it did cost $5k to get to Italy). Everything we had was with truffles and our expectation was the normal bold and delicious black/white truffle flavor. In this case they were present, there was A LOT of them, but that distinctive flavor was not there. It's likely that there's a difference between what we're used to and what this was and we'll accept that as immaturity. Nonetheless, I would recommend Forma, just with minor reservations (don't ask for wine advice)
