Great location, good atmosphere but here ends the good things what we can say about this restaurant. Food had no taste at all, and compared to location is next to the fish market and right by the sea the seafood / fish felt it was frozen! This is our 3rd time in Sicily and this was the worse food experience we had. You achieve a more flavourful full if you put a store bought sauce over your pasta!!! Very disappointed and still don’t get it why the are

Ci teniamo a precisare che la nostra filosofia si basa sull'utilizzo di pesce fresco e ingredienti di prima scelta, a cui si aggiunge la nostra posizione privilegiata nel centro di Marsala, proprio accanto al mercato del pesce. Ci scusiamo se in questa occasione non siamo riusciti a trasmettere la freschezza e la bontà che ci contraddistinguono.Tuttavia, notiamo una discrepanza tra il suo commento positivo sulla location e l'atmosfera e il voto di 2 che ha assegnato a questi aspetti. Ci dispiace se qualcosa ha compromesso la sua percezione generale del nostro locale. The restaurant is very good located, on a quite busy street but still feels cozy. Food was very good (especially the polpo salad) and the drinks very strong 😂

We had a super service with detailed advices on fish dish. We had gamberoni rossi raw and cooked unique and outstanding ,octopus carpaccio delicious, the fish cappone with amaretti and Marsala a local excellent recipe , sorbetto di limone was just perfect. A real fish gourmet experience .

The dinner was absolutely disappointing. We waited almost 40 minutes just to get our starters and the restaurant wasn’t even full. The sharing starters were expensive, portions were small,salty and tasteless. We tried to give them a second chance ordering a main (pasta con i ricci/sea urchin pasta) which was absolutely inedible. Never in my life I have had such a terrible pasta con i ricci! We were clearly disappointed but no one offered any recovery meal. The only thing they brought was 1 shot of local liquor, but we were in a table of 4 and they only brought 1. Not sure whether they expected us to share it or they simply disregarded 3 people on the table but it looked terribly awkward. It was also my mum’s birthday so felt absolutely mortified I had brought her to such a place. Definitely not gonna come back!

Dear Chiara, we are sorry for your feedback. However, we have to tell you that yesterday you didn’t report anything of what you have written now to the waiters, indeed you said that everything was good. Having eaten everything, how could we understand that the dinner was not to your liking? As for appetizers, you chose the products of tuna (bottarga tuna, heart of tuna and tuna salami) as we told you they are typical local products and have the characteristic of being very salty. It would have been more appropriate to say that you do not like tuna products instead of saying that the cuisine of our restaurant is disappointing. We conclude by saying that it is not our usual not to remedy a room/ kitchen mistake. Error is human (if the fact actually happened). If you had explicitly told the restaurant managers your discomfort, we would certainly have remedied.Best regards and see you soon.

La Marinara is “must visit” place if you are in Marsala and you want to eat fish cooked to perfection but in a less traditional way. And after the meal don’t forget to try on of their “Marsala” wines (Intorcia Vergine vintage 2004 is just sublime)

I had grilled tuna. very fresh and perfectly cooked. Others in my group loved what they had. Pasta with clams and a lovely fish soup. Staff were friendly and professional.

On the whole it was not that bad...you wouldn't consider it a "wow" place but just pleasant. The only unpleasant thing about the whole exprience was i had to ask several times to lower the volume of the music as it was too loud.

We were very disappointed by this restaurant. Its the worse restaurant in Sicily we have every visited. We was waiting for menu for 15 mins, thev we were waiting to make an order for 15 mins, then after another 20 mins they gave us completely burned bruscetta, we couldnt eat it and return, they didnt make a new one. Finally came the main dishes. We ordered octopus, fish, mixed sea food plate and pasta. Everything besides pasta was burned! Unbelivable! Everything! Then we asked for a bill and it took them 20 mins to bring the bill but it wasnt correct: they calculated bruscetta which we sent back to the kitchen, they calculated fish twice and something else twice, we complained about the bill amount, they took it back and came back with a new one but they made a mistake again and again had to change the total amont. They gave us a 20% discount to apologies. But we werenot happy. We spent 3 hours at this restaurant, ate burned food, spent our precious vacation time on trying to deal with their bill cheating...
