La Nicchia is a cosy restaurant housed in a beautiful historical location, formerly a synagogue, with also a small outside dining area. The food is good with a decent choice of dishes and everything we tried was satisfactory. Service was kind and attentive. Recommended.

For us, we did ask to have a corner table ... But we felt, squashed in, no space around us. The place was very bright, especially for an evening. The food was ok, nothing special. Helpful staff 👍

We visited on a grey, overcast day and the initial impression (the exterior and rather gloomy location) was not good, but once inside the warm and tasteful ancient interior, our opinion changed! First - a very good and reasonably-priced winelist to accompany an imaginative menu. I had delicious prosciutto crudo to start (not on the menu) with tasty artisanal bread, followed by the pork fillet. The pork fillet in a tangy sauce was a delight. My wife had the rabbit, with apple sauce, which she really enjoyed. Service was attentive and not intrusive. An excellent find - when we're next in Ascoli, we'll definitely come to La Nicchia again.

Underwhelming restaurant. Their PR is better than the experience. ‘Boneless rabbit’ was all bones. Food generally bland. Inexperienced young staff. Best avoided.

Amazing place. The inside was gorgeous (the patio was pretty appealing also). The staff were friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The prices were unbelievably low. The pizza was excellent and the wine and beer were fabulous. Grazie Mille! This place is pretty popular. Reservations are a must.

Nice family restaurant with good food and nice wine list. Service needed a bit of time to become friendly. Food was all in all good but not extraordinary. Truffles on meat had no truffle taste.

We just tasted a pizza but the one made out of local ingredients (with local tomato from Ancona especially) was literally out of this world :)
