5/10Restaurant doesn’t look at all like it is pictured. No ambiance at all! It’s a typical hotel like a Novatel restaurant. Not all what you want if you travel to France to experience the culture and excellent cuisine.

7.5/10The food was good but served cold. The general atmosphere of the restaurant could be improved. The space is a portion of the large cloister. It is windy and cold. It is ok to eat there when staying at the hotel or maybe for very large venues (marriages etc), but I wouldn't go to the restaurant only, it doesn't feel cosy enough. The staff was friendly and professional.

4/10The service was faultless and the restaurant is very nice, so I can't fault those in the slightest. However, I came to the restaurant to eat: Sadly, my "Duo of asparagus" entree promised green and white asparagus with nduja paste among other things. Instead I got a plate of limp, watery white asparagus (no green spears) and the nduja paste has been supplanted with parma ham (nice, sure - just not what I'd ordered). There was also an inexplicable dollop of flavourless aerated cream on the plate which melted into the water leeching from the asparagus into an unpleasant milky mess. The whole thing was rather unappetising: essentially some limp, stringy asparagus sitting in a milky puddle with ham on the side. My Boef Tartare main was not a very much nicer experience - no raw egg yolk in the beef tartare (which I'd normally expect, admittedly I'm no expert), but it tasted faintly of horseradish, which I really don't think is traditional? It came with a mountain of superfluous frites and a limp salad lightly dressed with a dull brown dressing which didn't taste of very much and just made it look like the salad hadn't been washed very well. Again, quite unappetising. I was grateful in the end that I didn't order a dessert...

4/10The two cold starters took one hour to be served after ordering. The young waiter was slow, disinterested and did not smile or engage in any conversation. The restaurant was empty and the dance music did not create a good ambience .

5.5/10The food was not to the level expected for a restaurant like this. My chair was replaced as the one at the table would not stand still, the vichyssoise was disappointing. My main course was good but my wife’s was also not at the level expected. Service is impacted by the low number of people but they were nice in general. Place is beautiful but I was disappointed as a whole.

6/10Thought we were getting the starter +entree + dessert lunch special but not so. Apparently, we didn't somehow specify and were charged ala carte for each course. A very expensive lunch!
