Nice setting with friendly service. The food was tasty, however, the portions were small (coquilles st.jaques). What I didn't appreciate was being charged 5 euros for a glass of tap water for my daughter!! And having to serve myself our bottle of wine since the staff was always busy or unatentive (and they left the wine out of reach, I had to get it myself).. I recommend for a normal lunch out.

In bright sunlight only one table was in shade (Jan 29th). They hum'ed and ha'd and let us have it. Both main courses lacked any salt. A glass of distinctly average Vaqueras white - I tried to see the vigneron but the waitress started in on what a Vaqueras was - when we explained we had a house nearby she switched off. Dessert with ice-cream was offered with a knife and fork. Tiramisu was bland and had no soaked alcohol in the sponge so we left half of it. Some hooray henriettas arrived and the noise level went through the roof. It's their kind of place, owned by the 5-star across the road. Will not return.

Wonderful evening at the terrace, starters were original and delicious, main dishes more classic but perfectly done and desserts were really outstanding. I would qualify the food overall as classic, very well executed in a lounge type experience. Service is extremely attentive and diligent, reminding of the high standards older sister, at the Armancette. The atmosphere on the terrace facing the dome de Miage is of course adding to the magic of the night. Very well positioned.
