Stopped for lunch at the place closest to the Hotel, but found it so good we booked for Saturday Eve. Took the Menu offer, and all the plates were fresh and delicious. I can personally recommend the duck. Staff was friendly, and the athmosphere cheerful. Excellent restaurant, but quite small so do reserve to be sure of a table.

We were welcomed when we arrived to our booked 8pm table. We had been held up and phoned to let them know. They were very ok with it. The service was excellent, helpful, prompt and the waiter spoke English even though I spoke in French. The food came quickly but there were only a few diners in with us. The starter we both wanted, deep fried calamari, had been off the menu Fridays and Saturdays. We opted to go straight for the main course. We chose cocktails to drink while we waited. My mojito was ultra sweet and rather weak. My husband had an ‘adequate’ pina colada. My husband’s medium steak was perfectly cooked, with good chips to go with it. I had spaghetti fruits de mer. The sauce was very thick and I think it was from a jar. The seafood was not fresh. I should have know better I think. The centre of Paris is not by the sea. It wasn’t a bad eating experience, just an average one. I wouldn’t avoid going back, but I wouldn’t rush.

NYE dinner was so overpriced with bad quality food. Would have spent 2 times less if i would have just ordered from basic menu. Food was blank, no taste. Needed to ask to take glasses and refill drinks. For the 79€ per person I’m disappointed! Maybe the basic fares and choices from menu would have saved this. Would not reccomend!!
