A lovely selection of dishes with plenty of choice and nice wine. We stayed on for the jazz afternoon as well. So all in all a great experience!

The restaurant was utterly appalling. We had a pescatarian and a vegetarian in our party. Rather than make another amuse bouche, they simply served none to 2 of the 4. My son's hake was breaded rubbish out of a freezer. He could not eat it. The prawn risotto and the mushroom risotto were swimming in unabsorbed stock. They were so bad we have up trying to eat, asked got the bill and left. The waitress said it was terrible that 3 could not eat, she was sorry and gave a 10% discount. We paid €115 for bread, olives, a glass of wine, 2 sprite, a coke zero and the tuna which was ok. In addition to the 3 terrible meals. Never again. Avoid at all cost!

Wonderful fixed menu with two nice options. My husband and I both chose the cod fish appetizer and the seared ahi tuna. Both were delicious. Service was pleasant and timely. We really enjoyed our lunch.

Visited at lunchtime and restaurant was full. Despite the number of patrons both the food and service was excellent. Highly recommended and will definitely be visiting again soon.

We love the Lisbonense restaurant at the Sana hotel in Caldas as it provides top-class food, service, and ambiance several notches above what is commonly found in this part of Portugal. The international hotel style may not be what everyone is looking for and you will pay more than in many a local restaurant but for a special occasion it is good value for money

We enjoyed an excellent Christmas day lunch. Delicious food, attentive friendly service and a quiet, totally covid - secure environment. Quite expensive relative to most restaurants locally but the quality of the food, service and surroundings make it good value for money.

We had a very nice meal, with attentive and efficient service. The fish was simply delicious. The ambiance was very pleasant, but nothing special or distinctive about it. Location is a plus, inside Sana Hotel right in front of a beautiful park (city's main atraction). At lunch it serves only a two course or three course meal, with limited options to choose from. The whole experience could be improved by some small details like warm bread to go with the olives and tuna spread served as couvert - the bread is cold, something that seems to be standard in Portugal and not appreciated where we come from - and also more options on the proposed menu. Good option if you are staying in the city or driving by as we were.

We were all very impressed! Quality of food is high. We all had cream of chickpea and spinach soup which was excellent. They I had pork curry with basmati rice and my husband had the espardarte fish which he really enjoyed. The white wine (house specialty wine) was very good. For dessert we had coconut mousse and a fresh fruit medley. Staff were extremely polite and attentive! Highly recommend!

A great hotel restaurant for long meals with family and/or friends. Although for kids, it might be more difficult to keep them entertained.
