10/10Second visit within a week. Staff all attentive and friendly. Great menu option options and food is excellent. Catered for awkward allergies with no problems and happily cooked steak more when hubby said it was it was too rare for his tastes. I opted for the sea bass this time and it was cooked perfectly. Would be my first choice of in the area again and there are quite a few to choose from!

8.5/10Excellent food showing some creativity and nice presentation. For once in Italy, the bread was excellent and amply served. Good choice of wines, at diffferent price levels. We waited too long to place our order: there are 4 waiters who seem very agitated even though the restaurant was only half full when we arrived but apparently only one can take the order.

7.5/10The pictures of steak used in a website did not reflect what we received. Picture showed wide steak with bit of fat. Steak served was small but very deep and was not cooked through. Still ok but misleading.

10/10Such a great experience having dinner here! We had some questions on the food preparation - our waiter who was very fluent in Italy ( as one would expect) was less comfortable explaining things to us in English. Right away he got someone to help with our menu choices….which were outstanding!! The vegetable side dishes accompanying the entrees were works of art as well - everything beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! We asked for our waiter to pick out a bottle of local white wine for us…..a perfect compliment to our meals for a reasonable price! Planning an Italy trip again for next year - will visit charming Pietrasanta again and head to dinner here!

10/10What an exceptional experience! Locanda is not only the best restaurant in Pietrasanta, it may be the best or among the best in Tuscany. Every dish is not only created with the best quality ingredients but always exquisitely and very creatively presented. Raffaele is truly a genius in the culinary arts. We went several times in the course of our stay in Pietrasanta and were never disappointed.

9/10Nice atmosphere with excellent service. We really enjoyed the food. Slightly limited in choice otherwise would have given 5 stars. Nonetheless, we will return and definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
