We really enjoyed our dinner at MACAO — the food was great and everything was very tasty. Our waitress Rebecca was attentive, friendly and very pleasant. Overall, everything was perfect.

The restaurant and the service is nice. But the portions of the rolls are ti è for the price point 8 euro for 4 tiny pieces. Salmon of tartar didn’t seem to be fresh

7/10They had an interesting selection of food. That said, the food arrived in drips and drabs so some people had food and others did not. It was not bad. It was not good. We would not go back again. All that said, the staff was very nice. The setting nice.

9.5/10When we arrived the restaurant was not very busy at all and we thought, oh no this is not good. Within minutes of our arrival the whole place filled up and what occurred next was simply amazing to watch and be a part of. Carlos was our server and he was fantastic. WE do not speak Spanish and he only spoke a little English but he kept working with us and being patient. We were able to decipher the menu and since we do not eat pork or shellfish, it took a little effort. We ordered 5 items, 2 were the Wagyu burgers along with, chicken masala, crispy chicken and one other item. Service was incredible. EVERYONE was literally running around. I have never ever seen wait staff work this fast and hard. Everything tasted fantastic. Portion sizes were reasonable for the price. The Fork discount made it even better. What started out with great doubt, turned out to be one of the most fun and wonderful dinners in a long while. Wish we had come back for our last night in Madrid!
