This is the second visit and it was as good as the first time. Great service from everybody, especially the manager who made sure our party of 7( 2 kids) was taken care of. Great dishes, my favourite being the fideua ( I kept thinking about it since the last time). Also the violet gelato. We left happy and full, we simply couldn’t finish everything-but we tried 😂 thank you for another memorable meal.

Great attention by our waiter. The food was great and we received great recommendations. Something went wrong with the discounts though. We booked with a discount but the message from the Fork didn't have the discount, nor the restaurant had it.

The Pork Belly was perfectly cooked but that was the best part of the evening. The paella was overcooked, which made it hard and dry on top, although it had plenty of seafood in it. When we arrived at the door, nobody greeted us. We found a waiter and he went to get the head waiter (I assume, because he was dressed differently), but that guy just pointed to a table behind him so we just went and sat there. There was a serviette missing and both forks were missing. Nobody came for a while so we had to get up and get some forks from the counter and a serviette from another table. Eventually, we were served by the same head waiter who doesn’t know how to smile or engage his customers. We felt like we were at a funeral. In the end, the overall experience wasn’t super bad, but it wasn’t super good either. Just AVERAGE.

Either the waiters are not familiar with what the fideua comes loaded with, or the menu is wrong. They attempted to disagree after we complained that there were no prawns in, until we pointed those out on the menu. The aubergine was okay as were the Paxton peppers. Fideua tasty. Wouldn’t go back though.

When we arrived at La Carmela, we were left to wait although we had a reservation. The place was packed with people and seems that the restaurant was overbooked. After 20mins waiting we left, afraid that to order and actually eat was also going to take long. Very disappointed as I had booked way in advance.

The service is awful. Seems that once you are at the table you will pay anyway, so nobody cares. Especially when you are alone, not the company. The fish was good, but tomato salad is just 5 pieces of pomato with 3 slices of tuna fish on. Definitely, all these aren't worth the money I paid. I do not recommend this place.

I ordered the €18 menu (starter, main course, dessert, and drinks). Starter: Tasteless paella with chicken pieces, mostly bones. Main course: Undercooked entrecôte, impossible to eat. I barely finished half. Dessert: Tiramisu, quite good. Wine: not bad. Service was fast but not friendly at all.

After paying the bill in cash with four €50 notes and one €20 note, the waiter returned three or four minutes later to inform us that €40 was missing. The manager then acted in bad faith by exchanging a €50 note for a €10 note. When we asked to view the surveillance camera recordings, he responded that it would only be possible the next day. We had to insist that he call the police to access the footage. After 5 to 10 minutes, the director arrived, apologized, and informed us that he would check the recordings the following day. Additionally, they refused to grant us the 30% discount with which we had made the reservation." "I strongly advise against this restaurant and warn the community to be very cautious
