Another fantastic meal here. We were frequent visitors over the last few years and the place has become more and more popular. So much so that I had to book nearly a week in advance. Testament to how good the food and service is though. Table of 6 were served an array of pasta and pizzas, and they food was simply excellent. At no point did we feel hurried along: just politely “monitored” and left to enjoy the company and food. Highly recommended.

I had a Lasagne which was boiling hot, it was very nice, but my partner had spaghetti bolognese which was only just warm so he had to eat it very fast. He said it tasted nice but was ruined by the temperature of it. Staff didn't come over to check if everything was ok, otherwise we may had told them. Quite slow service considering if was pretty quiet.

The service was terrible, I asked for the dessert to be warmed it wasn’t, then couldn’t get anyone’s attention to ask again. When we got the bill it took ages for anyone to actually come over so we could pay and we wanted to split the bill which I don’t imagine is rare yet they didn’t seem to understand, not in a l language barrier but it seemed they were trying to accuse us of trying to pay less. I’ve been before and had brilliant service but I won’t go again.

Read mixed reviews of Mamma Mia but had a very good experience overall. Not the level of service you get at say the Venture restaurants but still no problem, polite, and served with a smile. Lovely appointed table on the terrace with views of the golden mile, food excellent, wine by the glass very good. Overall a very enjoyable evening and I would definitely recommend and return.
