9.5/10Love dining here, I am a usual. The food is always superb, you can tell they made a great effort developing the menu. From the gunkan to the risotto plates to the other side dishes, the tastes and palettes that they gave you are well balanced with meticulous layers. The staff is always welcoming as well. Each and everytime I recommended this place to anyone, they all love it.

3/10Unfortunately the service was incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. We were a large party and they reserved the table only for 1.5 hours, which is not even enough time to cook their signature dish risotto for every person. Within five minutes they were hassling us to order, when the people hadn't even arrived yet. They brought food that we didn't order, refused to take it back and charged us for it, did not keep up on the drink orders - the whole situation was a mess. Nobody spoke English. The food was alright, but imo not worth this hassle especially with a price of around 60 per person (as I said, they charged us for all the starters and main dishes they brought that we did not order).

9.5/10Great choice of risottos and the sushi-style bites are delicious and creative. T I might have like the rice of the risotto to be slightly less cooked, but it was excellent nonetheless. The space is rather small do unfortunately there's no way to really escape the noise from other tables

Officina del Riso brings to the table the passion for risotto in every from possible, starting form the traditional recipe but using refined products and most importantly a very particular rice. The Lomello, newborn rice variety - similar to the Carnaroli - solid grain and thick and soft rind that gives an outstanding creaminess to the risotto even without adding butter while blending. The Gunkan The creativity of Officina del Riso combined the research of the best products belonging to the Mediterranean gastronomic universe and the Japanese sushi, creating a unique Gunkan. Rice Yume pellets are wrapped in cheek lard and then Roman pecorino cream and yolk with pepper, Yume wrapped in Colonnata lard and honey, final topping with caramelized Tropea onion. These are just few examples... The place The culinary experience is supported by a modern but at the same time warm and cozy place in which wood (solid beechwood) is dominant.
