9.5/10This is one of those must-go restaurants in the Terricciola commune in Tuscany. This dinner was the peak of our trip as far as food goes. The owner/manager was incredibly hospitable and gracious as he welcomed us to his place and told us of some background to the area. Everything on the menu we tried was spectacular. We started with a cheese plate, marmalade, and bread, which was great. The sirloin was perfectly cooked and tender, the potato ravioli (cappellaccio) was outstanding, the risotto was nice, and the salmon was delicious. Paired with a local wine, it was a perfect dinner. Capped with a variety of dolces (to include nutella cheesecake and limoncello) We did not do the tastings menu (other reviewers raved about these). The service was great and timely (as Americans, we preferred our food to come out all at the same time). All for $44 USD per person....what a great value!

10/10+1We had a great time at Oro Restaurant, great ambiance and delicious food. The only feedback would be that the portions are quite generous, leaving us to manage how much we would eat. Maybe senior portions as an option?

9.5/10What a fabulous dinner we had. There is a lot of choice of restaurants in this area (and we eat out a lot)but this was amongst the best food we’ve had. Added to this amazing service and a great wine selection- many thanks, particularly to Stefano who looked after us superbly and emailed me after I foolishly left my credit card on the table when we left.
