Great food of very high quality and nice that it maintained traditional roots rather than being overly contemporary. Great level of friendly service. Exceptional wine list - heavily Italian influenced as to be expected. Two very small comments: - we had the tasting menu. Everything excellent, but the portions were rather large , particularly for a tasting menu, meaning that we struggled with dessert. Slightly smaller portions would have worked fine. - a common problem in Italy, the red wine is served at room temperature, which in summer on the terrace, is too hot. Slightly chill the reds please. Other than that, excellent and would highly recommend it.

We had an incredible experience at Osteria di Passignano. The staff were so welcoming and made us feel like family the moment we walked in. The decor is a combination of warm, traditional and whimsical. Our Sommelier picked a wonderful wine and also gave us a glass of a special reserve not yet released . It was all preceded by a delicious and beautiful amuse-bouche. There were three of us dining and instead of getting the tasting menu we each got a different first course and entree and shared so we each got to try. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Throughout the meal Emmanuel, Tessa and the entire staff were available, friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this restaurant

Service was excellent. Wine selection was excellent. Food was unfortunately too salty (aubergine and sauce for pigeon) and the flavors did not impress. Was definitely disappointed.
