We had an incredible experience at Osteria di Passignano. The staff were so welcoming and made us feel like family the moment we walked in. The decor is a combination of warm, traditional and whimsical. Our Sommelier picked a wonderful wine and also gave us a glass of a special reserve not yet released . It was all preceded by a delicious and beautiful amuse-bouche. There were three of us dining and instead of getting the tasting menu we each got a different first course and entree and shared so we each got to try. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Throughout the meal Emmanuel, Tessa and the entire staff were available, friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this restaurant

Service was excellent. Wine selection was excellent. Food was unfortunately too salty (aubergine and sauce for pigeon) and the flavors did not impress. Was definitely disappointed.

The dishes on the tasting menu were all quite/too rich. Heavy and several with brown thick sauce. Same in colour and taste. Even the dessert was brown. Not the elegant menu one might expect from a one star Michelin restaurant. The “tasting” wine menu was a joke. Smallest three glasses I have ever paid €100+ for in my life. No problem to drive home. Disappointing experience 🤥

It’s a very special experience to eat here. Athmosphere is the biggest factor on that. Service quality is also a top level. Food quality is also very very high, imho even on the level of 2 Michelin stars. They also have got a great somellier and a very nice wine menu as it is expected from Antinori family. Definitely a recommend-worthy.

I am pretty sure this is the best meal I have ever had in my life! My husband and I decided to eat here because we wanted to experience a Michelin Star restaurant and we were staying in Passignano. We are so happy we chose to eat here! Every dish was fantastic and I will continue to think about the gnocchi until we can go back one day.
