10/10Greeted in the parking lot as the restaurant is off the main road and tucked away in a beautiful structure. Excellent service and presentation. The food is imaginative and delicious. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, did not need starter plus pasta plus second course! Highly recommend for foodies.

5.5/10With great expectation we arrived at Podere 1384. Very nice place, we were personally welcommed and got a lot of information about the hotel, which we were not interested in, after all we had a dinner reservation. They love to show off with the qualification of the chef, sommelier, pastry chef, ... increasing even more expectations, but they did not deliver. Food was OK but not exceptional, the service of the sommeler was way below standard. The request for a half glass arrangement, for the driver, could not be honoured, no explanation of the served wines, he finished a, left over, bottle of brunello, but serving two uneven filled glasses, although he served the main course no request to serve a matching glass of wine, the request came from the server after the course was finished (?), no interest at all to make this an enjoyable experience. Podere 1384 has to critically review their approach instead of showing off ... no surprise maybe, we were the only guests in the restaurant ?

6.5/10The restaurant is in a glorious setting. We were provided with a warm welcome. The challenge arrives when you know that this is a fine dining luxury experience and the details then begin to matter. The firepit where we were offered to sit was unlit on a chilly evening. The seat cushions were in vague disarray. I know this may seem picky but we were the first arrivées for dinner service. Dinner itself was pleasant if unmemorable.. Our waitress was very personable and added to the experience. A little bit more focus to care for the tremendous amount of work that has so clearly gone into making this magnificent location and a little more flair in the kitchen and this will be a destination restaurant. We had an outstanding memorable lunch. The service was so friendly and the chef came to the table to serve us too. We met Franky who is the sweetest dog. The food is Michelin standard in my opinion. Each plate is a picture. I had garden herbs straight out of their own garden too. I had pasta cucio e pepe made in pecorino. For main I had the slow cooked in oil baccala with peas, courgette and a gorgeous broad bean jus. My wife had mixed fried courgette, mushrooms and sage with an avocado dip, tagliatelle con tartufo (the special pasta dish of the day then sea bass with a mixed salad of tomatoes and peppers served with tomato water. We shared a tiramisu to finish. The surroundings are beautiful inside and outside. We will definitely come back and combine it with a stay

10/10We love it at Podere 1384, the food is excellent with friendly and professional service. The restaurant also has a great feel, with stylish decor. We’ve been twice and were welcomed back like family by Andrea and the team. What a gem to have in Chianti!

+2This was a great restaurant experience. We went there for lunch and we all loved it. The pasta was amazing and the flavors just popped. Beautiful location. The turn into the place was a bit difficult to find.
