A great place to eat, well worth the walk through Travastere to get to. The menu is not extensive, but high quality food and the waiters were happy to discuss the ingredients and where they were sourced from. They were friendly and welcoming too. A big shout out to Bruno especially. We were outside in an annexe but perfectly warm and comfortable, so can't comment on the interior of the restaurant, but we would happily go back there again.

Lovely small Bistro. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Bruno took the time to chat with us, explain the menu and help with our food choices. Food was lovely. We were the only ones when arrived, but booked early. Others arrived later. Overall an enjoyable experience.

A little gem close to Trastevere station. Amazing food and service. We had a tasting board, various bruschetta, steak tartare, rump steak and a pizza.... all top drawer dishes along with advice and info about the food and which wine best suited. When we're next in Rome, we will definitely visit again ;-)

Attentive yet unobtrusive service sets the tone, while inventive meat sushi rolls, tender carpaccio and tataki, and a savory pork-lardo bruschetta showcase the kitchen’s creativity. Two glasses of Negroamaro paired perfectly, and the creamy tiramisù made for a delightful finale. Prices are fair, the atmosphere warm, and you can even pay with Yums points—making it a smart choice for both a casual date or a laid-back dinner with friends. Reservations recommended!

Primo’s concept centers around crudi di scottona (raw beef cuts) and also pinsa romana crafted from organically sourced flours and a long, 72-hour fermentation which would be a reason to go back soon and try. The service offered by the two young gentlemen managing the small area inside was impeccable. Very professional and very knowledgable. It was my first time there and they suggested the best options to appreciate the food they prepare. Starting with the beef tartare and onto a beef carpaccio that was exquisite accompanied by a very well done focaccia. The wine recommend was also optimal. As for the dessert, nothing to complain. Definitely worth the price and will surely recommend and return. The space is limited and bookings are required especially on a rainy day (or very hot day) when sitting outside is not an option.
