Pepe, the owner, was an excellent host. Advised us on choice of wine, a Falerno del massico and then let us try his suggested alternative, Kleos an Aglianico wine. Octopus was well cooked and fondue fillet even better. We were staying at the Hotel Piazza Bellini about 3 minutes walk away and would highly recommend it.

+5We visited twice during our stay in Naples as the food was so good and Pepe and his staff were very friendly and helpful. We were given prosecco as acourtesy on arrival and limoncello at the end of our meal. Pepe helped us find wine that was amazing. We enjoyed the octopus with potato cream, the tuna was divine and my daughter said the pasta with shrimp was the best she had eaten in her life , Italy or elsewhere. The desserts were delicious especially the dark chocolate mousse. We will always remember these two meals as highlights of our time in Naples and will talk about them for years to come. Thank you Pepe from 3 very happy Australians.

7.5/10I ordered the fried calamari and shrimp which was really good. So no complaints about my entree. However, I was given bottles of olive oil and balsamic vinegar for my salad and was grossed out with how "dirty" they were. Very sticky like they hadn't been wiped down in a long, long time. Such a little thing but made me wonder about the cleanliness of the parts of the restaurant that we couldn't see.

For the appetiser, we had an Roasted Octopus Tentacle and Fried courgette flowers with ricotta and salami. These two were amazing 10/10 highly recommend. For main, we ordered T bone steak with homemade potato chips, the chips were great, but the T bone steak has too much tendon, really hard to chew. For pasta, Calamarata with clams and friarielli, it was average as I can only taste the spiciness of the chilly. Overall, the expectation was at the top after enjoying the appetisers. However it was a bit disappointing afterwards. The Price-quaily ratio would be so nice if the main and pasta were not underwhelming. We really enjoyed the appetisers.

10/10We've been before and really enjoyed it. The food quality is wonderful. The choices are eclectic and range from Asian inspired tempura vegetables to cacio e pepe with a twist, salmon tartare. Desserts are house made and delicious. Highly recommend

6.5/10This restaurant was highly recommended and nearby so we made a reservation for 7:15 and showed up at 7. They immediately seated us along with another couple. They didn't have the hamburger my husband wanted so he went with the steak, and requested medium for doneness. The steak was not medium, but more like the Florentine raw, and it didn't have the spices to make it taste good. It was cool and he didn't enjoy it. The chips were okay he said. I had the sea bass and salad and they were good although the fish wasn't fully done to the tail. Then we decided to have dessert but they didn't have the one we requested, and only 2 out of the four offered. We didn't have dessert. I admit we are the most obliging customers and my husband will not send unacceptable food back, he just muscles through, so they really didn't have an opportunity to make things right, but not having food offered on the menu (twice) and not preparing what we ordered was frustrating. It was a disappointing experience.

6.5/10Cute restaurant with friendly server. They were out of ice so no cocktails. Bigger issue was that the apps were not great. Octopus came in a gelatinous sauce and squash blossoms were overly full of cheese. Entrees were better (and generous servings).

3.5/10Extremely quiet so unsure why we had to book an early table. No atmosphere. Despite being one of only two tables, the waiter somehow forgot we hadn't eaten anything yet and asked if we were ready for dessert. Food was entirely mediocre. Presented nicely but every dish was only 'fine' - nothing to write home about. Had high hopes because of all the great reviews but left having had a strange and disappointing experience.
