We had booked a table for 6 via the Fork website. The main reasons for our choice of restaurant were the reviews and the fact that it was advertised as 50% off during the fork festival. On arrival it became apparent that the 50% discout applied to ony a small part of the menu. The offer was 50% off 'niet van toepassing drankjes en speciale menu's " We were informed that virtually everything on the menu was a special and therefore not included in the offer. I pointed out that the word special didn't appear on the main menu but the manager/owner insisted that the offer only applied to the combi meals. This was dissappointing however we ordered what we wished and continued with the meal. The food was good , well made and relatively quickly prepared. Overall a good evening but marred by the fact that I felt the offer was a misrepresentation of what was actually on offer

Unbelievable starter... guacamole was just green slime. The salsa wasn't eatable at all. And the "grilled" cheese never experienced heat. Filets were medium-rare, not medium as ordered. The corn aside was a mini-portion. And then the Chef gave us the 30-Percent-Fork-Discount only on the Steaks, while the Rest was completely overprized (especially regarding lowest Quality).

Restaurant was quiet when we arrived and full when we left. Fantastic food, steaks were incredible, wonderful warm garlic bread recommended by our waiter. Happy to cook your steak how you would like it. Char grilled flavour was incredible. Lovely mushrooms and side salad, but need better onion rings please, minor critique and not the end of the world. Fabulous Malbec. Only one chef and one front of house/chef. Please bear with them as it’s a lot for two people to serve, but so worth the wait and the quality. I’m a head chef from London so I get it. We had a wonderful meal and a fabulous night and it was 50% off with The Fork festival. Thank you 💖

The waiter (I didn’t catch his name) was very welcoming and hospitable. Honestly, I was very impressed by the service and hospitality it is not something you see often in Amsterdam. The food was also delicious and the steaks were cooked perfectly.
