The restaurant was busy which is a good sign, but the atmosphere was very welcoming and cosy. Service was not swift, but given how busy it was it was absolutely fine. The food was simple, but was amazing. The mashed potato was out of this world and served with the tastiest gravy over ever had. The cheese straws I had as a side were sublime. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. The best meal I had whilst in Holland by far.

Good honest food, which is targeted at authenticity and not fine dining. Hearty Dutch food, which was very tasty. Service was friendly and efficient. Wine was reasonably priced for Amsterdam.
