I recommend a visit to the Óleum restaurant, you will find there all that one might expect from a nice museum restaurant.

The first dishes were not exactly what we expected in terms of size and quality. However the main and the desert made up for it. The price overall matches the service and the quality. It has a spectacular view of the city and good ambience. I will go back in my next trip to Barcelona!

Lovely setting. We had made a reservation and therefore had a seat by a window (not a guarantee, but the reservation made the difference). Interesting menu--I had the shrimp salad and my friend had fish. Both were delicious. Highly recommended.

We reserved a table next to the window. With the lovely view, we enjoyed the lunch menu very much. The only thing we did not like was that the waiter came for payment when we started eating dessert. She rushed to vacate the table for the next guests, which was not good.

This restaurant was well beyond our expectations in every way. Pricing for our preset lunch was far below any other places of equal calibre. Prompt and attentive service even with limited staff. A full functioning Magic Fountain out front would have been an icing on the cake.

El lloc és molt impressionant. Per arribar travesses la Sala Oval i si tens una mica de sort la taula tindrà unes vistes fantàstiques de la Font Màgica, Maria Cristina i la resta de la ciutat. El preu a la carta és una mica alt, però a sobre tenen un menú atractiu per uns 30 euros. Un entorn especial.

Great location and food! We struggled finding the entrance, as it said it was closed, but found our way through the museum entrance (Be sure to make a reservation before you come! Us having one was the only reason we could walk past the long line of people entering the museum). When we finally found the restaurant it was definitely worth it. Fantastic view from Montjuic and the food was great, although a tad expensive.

The restaurant is lovely, has great views and provides a cozy setting for lunch. We waited for seating as we arrived a few minutes earlier for our reservation. We were then offered a corner table or sofa table. There were multiple tables available near the window view where other patrons were seated after arriving after us. The menu is a set menu or a la carte. I oredered from the set menu and my travel partner ordered a la carte. My set dinner was okay; however my travel partner's order was placed before her and when she inquired about the difference of what she ordered as to what had been delivered. Wait staff passed by over and over again and when asked about the order; we were given the answer "Give us a minute" . My set dinner included 4 or 5 courses, I don't remember; and my partner just sat and waited for her answer as I ate. We were not offered any other drinks after our first order of drinks . . The head waiter did offer my travel partner a significant discount . I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who does not want to sit outside but wants Great views. The perception I received was that; if I had clout or was someone "known" I may have been given a better seating and together we would have received better service.

Beautiful view and charming setting. If you bring your museum ticket (even the one for the free day), you get a complimentary glass of Cava (in addition to the glass of wine or soda included with the prix-fixe menu). There are 2 cool sofa settings where you can dine facing the view and with your dining companion next to you (request when reserving).
